AR BookGuide manages your school's library collection and custom quiz ordering. The program contains all the Accelerated Reader quizzes available through Renaissance Learning. You use BookGuide to generate the Custom Order form for your school's order of the 1000 quizzes you've been allotted. You can order as few as 50 quizzes at a time, up to the whole 1000. You just need to remember that quizzes have to be ordered in multiples of 50. (e.g. 50 or 100 or 450, etc.) Once printed, this custom order is to be sent to the following address:

Updates to the original AR BookGuide CD (Version 2.3) have arrived at your school twice since we've purchased the package. Version 2.4 (Spring 2003) arrived at your school last May 2003. Version 2.5 (Fall 2003) arrived this January 2004. These updates add new quizzes that have been written since the last CD was published. If you have not seen them, ask your school secretary.
I have included here handouts I've written that pertain to our school district. Exporting and importing from MacSchool and Library Pro has procedures not covered in the manual. The manual that came with original AR BookGuide CD is excellent. Your school received the manual when installation of Accelerated Reader and STAR was completed. Contact your lab manager or librarian or principal for the whereabouts of this elusive creature!
