One hour sessions take place Monday - Friday at Centennial Pool from  9-10am or 10-11am (pool times will be assigned)

July 19th - 30th - Introduction to Competitive Swimming
This program will continue stroke development as well as skills, drills and endurance training techniques used in competitive swim training.
Swimmers will get to experience "competition" through a session mini-meet.

BC Hockey -- classroom and curriculum
BC Hockey is proud to present an opportunity to deliver a hockey curriculum within your District. Their organization, responsible for all youth hockey programming in the province, has for years desired the possibility of partnering with the school system to introduce Canada’s National Game to BC students. These thoughts came to action three years ago when program design began.
Their program continues to unfold three important components of interest to the school curriculum:
1) An on-ice program
2) A gym-based program
3) A classroom based program

Workshop:  "Bully Back Off"
Stopping a bully is a skill. You and your child can learn how.  "Bully Back-off" exists to train both groups and individuals in non-violent anti-bullying techniques.  Sessions are led by Steve Andrews a former Child and Youth Care Counselling Instructor and Coordinator.

Located in the Lower-Mainland, we have trained thousands of children and parents,  on what to say or do to make a bully back off!   Whether it is: prevention, stopping a current situation, or making sure your child never gets bullied again we can help.

Bully back off is an anti-violence training site led by former members of CRAVE.  CRAVE a Vancouver based Youth Against Violence organization won the Solicitor General of BC- Public Safety Award for youth for their work against youth violence in East Vancouver in 2004.
* Youth and Parents Seminars *
We facilitate training sessions in group settings for both youth and parents.    Youth can learn these skills in one hour.   Parents can learn them to assist their children and to prevent their child being bullied.  Past locations/organizations helped have included: schools, recreation centres, youth groups, neighbourhood houses, churches, immigrant services organizations, parenting support groups, and for PAC's (Parent Advisory Councils).  For more information contact us at:  bully_back_off@yahoo.com   Or call 604 307-9146
