Welcome to my online portfolio.
I've thoroughly enjoyed working through SFU's TLITE program. The open program design mixed with my own interests and previous knowledge of technology has really helped me to grow over the past two years. Not just in knowledge and expertise as a user of technology, but also in my pedegogy.
I will be entering my sixth year as a professional educator after I finish the program in May, 2009. I will definitely be looking at this next September as the second launch of my career because of the mix my classroom experience and an altered (for the better) view of how technology impacts the classroom, the school, and society in general. I know the program has been revamped to a significant degree over the past year and that new entrants to the program will have many different experiences than my colleagues and I did during our journey. Nonetheless, If you are reading this and are intrigued, I hope you consider TLITE for your own 5+ journey.
This site will make up my working and demonstration portfolio for the TLITE program over the next two years. It is built to demonstrate my learning through each term. In each of the TLITE terms, I will have a list of assignments with summaries, documents, and TLITE capacities underneath. There is also a blog page (my personal reflections about my work), a documents page (electronic copies of my work), and a links and tags page (colleague support).
Even though most of the information on this site is only relevant to myself as a self-directed learner, I nonetheless, hope you enjoy looking through it.
