ASSIGNMENT 1 : Participating in TLITE and School District On-Line Environments
In this assignment we were required to involve to fully involve ourselves in the summer institute. I was important to keep an open mind and begin to deal with the ambiguity that sometimes comes along with a self-directed learning model. I completed this assignment by being present everyday during the summer institute, involving myself in the online community that my mentor created in FirstClass and the SCoPE website, blogging, and completing all other assignments for the summer institute.

ASSIGNMENT 2 : Situating Yourself as a Learner
For this assignment, we were to present our learning style, strengths, and general thoughts on our own learning to our mentor group. I used the "Technology Self Assessment Inventory," an online personality test (http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/JTypes1.htm ), blogging, and "Getting ready for the learning journey" from Module 1. You can read my
reflections on these activities by clicking the appropriate link below.
I do not particularly enjoy presenting in front of colleagues, therefore, I created a short iMovie to demonstrate my thoughts on this second assignment. It will, in eight minutes, describe for you my technological background, learning strengths and methods, and some of my teaching philosophy. Click the link below to start the movie (8:26).

ASSIGNMENT 5 : Launching Your Working Portfolio
This website is built to become my working and demonstration portfolio. I'm hoping that the website environment will create an easy transition of documents and files into a presentation. I also have some limited knowledge of building a website in First Class, so it seemed like a good environment in which to build a portfolio while at the same time increase my knowledge of building a website in FirstClass. Click the link below to head to the home page.
There are also a number of documents that are not in digital format. These are contained in my Binder Portfolio and are organized in a similar manner to this website.
