Welcome to Rick Hansen Japanese Program
Rick Hansen Japanese Program offers Japanese 9 to 12 courses. Currently, approximately 140 students are learning Japanese as a second language at Hansen.
Three years ago, I made a few changes in the program. One of them was a new textbook for Japanese 10: Obento Deluxe. In the Japanese 10 class, each student receives a workbook with its original audio CD so that he/she can study Japanese at home by listening to it. Also, this textbook is full of authentic materials such as colourful photos of interesting Japanese culture and manga. The students in the class have a lot of fun, experiencing interesting Japanese culture and language activities.
Another change was Japanese 11 course. The students are going to use a new textbook, Obento Supreme, for exciting language and cultural learning.
